- Transaction Authorization: Whenever you're making a transaction, this PIN will be required again, adding an additional layer of security. You can turn this off and set a different security option (e.g., Biometric) as the transaction authorization security option.
Biometric security
- Fingerprint or Face ID: Depending on your device's capabilities, Rem allows you to use your unique fingerprint or facial recognition as a security measure.
- Easy and Secure: With just a look or a touch, you can instantly access your account or approve a transaction, while also ensuring that you're the only one who can do so.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
- An Extra Layer: Even after entering your PIN or using biometric verification, 2FA provides another layer of protection.
- How It Works: Upon enabling 2FA, each time you log in or authorize a significant transaction, you'll need to enter the 6-digit code a unique code via an authentication app. This code must be input to proceed, ensuring double verification.
- Always In Control: This means that even if someone manages to guess or steal your PIN, they'll still be halted by 2FA.
- Flexibility: You can choose to use 2FA as the only security option (for login and transaction authorization), or use it as an extra security layer in addition to either PIN code or Biometric security.
