Configuring Notification Preferences
At Rem, we understand that every individual's preferences differ. You might want to be alerted immediately for certain activities, while others you might prefer to check at your convenience. That's why we've provided you with the ability to tailor your notifications according to what suits you best.
There’s some things we’ll always need to tell you about, like changes to our T&Cs or your transfers. That means you can’t turn off notifications about the really important stuff.
Types of notifications
- Transaction Notifications: Instant alerts each time a transaction is initiated, processed, or completed through your Rem account.
- Security Alerts: Immediate updates regarding account access, password changes, or other security-related activities.
- Promotions & Updates: Stay in the loop with our latest offers, features, and important app updates.
- Account Maintenance Alerts: Timely notifications about scheduled maintenance, system updates, or anything that might affect your user experience.
- Survey & Feedback Requests: We occasionally seek feedback to improve. If you opt-in, you'll occasionally receive requests to share your user experience with us.
How you'll receive notifications
- Push Notifications: Directly on your Rem mobile app – make sure you've given the app permission to send notifications.
- Email Alerts: Sent to the email address associated with your Rem account – ensure your email is up to date.
- SMS Alerts: Depending on your profile and security settings, SMS alerts may be sent to either your profile mobile number or your security mobile number.
Customizing your notification preferences
- Login to you Rem app, then go to Account -> Settings -> Notifications.
- Here, you'll find a list of all notification types. Toggle ON/OFF as per your preference for each category.
- Your changes will be automatically saved. Feel free to adjust as often as you wish!.
Remember, staying informed about your account activities is crucial for security and to get the most out of Rem. Customize your alerts to align them with your needs.
